Getting to Yellowstone
Yellowstone National Park is located predomonately in northwestern Wyoming, but it's north and west boarders extends into Montana and Idaho. There are no flights into the park area, all entry is by car or bus, but visitors can fly into either Bozeman, Montana, or Cheyenne, Wyoming, There are five entrances into the park:
North Entrance: Comes in south of Gardiner, MT, and the only entrance open to wheeled vehicles all year long. If flying in, the closest airline service is Bozeman, MT.
Northeast Entrance: One of the most beautifl drives into the partk, it is travels through Silver Gate and Cooke City, M. If flying in, the closest airport is Billings, MT.
East Entrance: If flying in, the closest airline service is Cody, WY.
South Entrance:. Adjacent to Teton National Park. If flying in, the closest airline service is Jackson, WY.
West Entrance: Near the town of West Yellowstone, MT. If flying in, the closest airline service is Bozeman, MT.
